Bollywood’s most recognisable performer, has enthralled audiences with his blockbuster films for more than a decade. During the 1990s, the actor was well known for acting in numerous films at the same time and was considered one of the most bankable performers in B-town at the time.
Chi-Chi made his Bollywood debut in Love 86 in 1987. Later, the actor went on to star in a number of hit films, including Coolie No. 1, Raja Babu, Akhiyon Se Goli Maare, Hero No. 1, Naseeb, and many others.
The actor has received 12 Filmfare Awards nominations and four Zee Cine awards for his outstanding performances over the years. Aside from that, the actor received the Filmfare Best Comedian Award for his work in Haseena Maan Jayegi.
Govinda’s Response
In response to those rumours, the actor revealed that he had signed a total of 70 films at one time. Govinda later explained that he had to drop a few films because he didn’t have enough time for those projects. He also mentioned that a couple of films were cancelled entirely on their own. The actor then said that despite having dropped numerous films, he ended up working on five in a single day.
